Dolly trailer TD218

The TD218 dolly is our latest proposal for people looking for an effective way of connecting a semi-trailer to an agricultural tractor. It is primarily intended for farm owners because it significantly increases the towing capacity of the aggregated tractor, making it much easier to move in difficult terrain.

The main component is the fifth-wheel coupling of a reputable manufacturer, which can be set on the chassis frame in three different positions in order to adapt the dolly to the front overhang of the semi-trailer. The structure is supported on a pneumatic tandem suspension that can be used to raise or lower the dolly. The added mechanical support leg helps connect the dolly to the tractor. Thanks to the converter, the regular 12-V voltage system can be converted to 24-V voltage (to supply the semi-trailer).

The TD218 dolly is connected with hitches: a Ø50 swivel hitch with a maximum load of 3000 kg, a Ø40 (or Ø50) fixed hitch with a maximum load of 3000 kg or a K80 ball-type hitch with a maximum load of 4000 kg.

As an option, TD 218 can be provided with an autonomous hydraulic system with a 150-l oil tank, with a pump and telescopic shaft – the system is controlled electrically (using a wired connection) from the driver’s cab.

  • The trailer is intended to transport the semi-trailer within the farm. Transport on public roads is possible if the law of the country in which the trailer is used permits driving with such a set.
